Let's consider sound tracks! What type of music will you mix to create the soundtrack of your trailer? Will there be any narration, sound effects, sections of silence etc...?
Movie Scores in Garageband
First, launch GarageBand and select a new movie score project.

After the new project window opens, drag a copy of the movie you have created into the area of the GarageBand window that says "drag movie here". In this case, the original movie file only has video.

Next edit your audio as you normally would in GarageBand.
You can delete the original audio track if you don't want to use it.

Drag in your musical loops, and sound effects and edit as you would normally in GarageBand.
